Located in the centre of an attractive village with extensive Roman remains, our family-run farm is farmed organically under the Soil Association Standards. We rear chickens for their meat and eggs, beef cattle, sheep, pigs and turkeys. The family on the farm consists of Chris, Liz , Harry, Joanna and William Hodgson.
The farm has won numerous awards and accolades for both the quality of its produce, its diversification within the community and its environmentally friendly farming. We were also featured in Rick Stein’s ‘Food Heroes of Great Britain’.
Our Farm has a completely Organic farm shop stocked full of local vegetables and other products as well as all of its home-produced and butchered meats.
To complement the shop, our Organic café sells a large selection of tempting homemade cakes and treats from the farm kitchen. We also offer delicious light lunches and all day breakfasts.

The Family has farmed the farm since 1964 and finished the conversion to Organic farming in 2001. The farm is all grass on which we graze our sheep, cattle, pigs and poultry. For more info on any of these please see the produce section.
